As you enter into this historic Houston home, you're greeted with the charm of 1940s architecture...then quickly transported with fresh updates to the kitchen, powder, and master bathroom. These spaces are elevated with elegance in every detail - crafted with selections of rich marble, durable porcelain, cutting-edge Sub Zero & Wolf appliances, and Bentwood Kitchen custom cabinets.
These innovative elements modernized the home while staying true to the traditional, meticulous, and romantic style of the homeowners.
The Elegant Kitchen:
Our goal was to merge form, function, and beauty in a small space. The narrow floor plan was transformed with durable porcelain walls, the shine of polished nickel finishes, a marble vent hood, and custom Bentwood cabinets.
To maximize the function & storage of this smaller kitchen, we teamed up with Bentwood Luxury Kitchens to create customized drawers, pull-outs, hidden compartments, and doors to ensure every corner of the room had a purpose while keeping the space clear of clutter!

The Bold Powder:
The powder bath is striking! It is designed with a floating porcelain vanity with built-in drawers. The vanity design is crafted with the sink directly cut out from the gorgeous white Neolith slab. Marble-look porcelain lines the walls and floor, and is accented with a custom white border to perfectly highlight the crystal mirror and sconces.
Guest Bedroom:
Maximize storage, in tight spaces. It's the theme that guided this renovation. The guest bedroom closet was transformed into a full wall of storage and closet space. Instead of the typical narrow closet -- a streamlined wall of custom drawers, pull-outs, and cabinets were crafted to house guest's clothing, shoes, and accessories in a concise way.
A Regal Master Bath
The master bathroom shares its small floor plan with a walk-in closet. The narrow space is fully customized to store all the homeowner’s clothes, shoes, and coats behind a pocket door.
The bathroom itself, is lined with stunning chocolate-veined marble along its walls with a complimentary bordered on the white marble floor. Its customized double vanity offers plenty of storage space from the cabinets and pullout drawers.
The Result: Beauty + Function
Our Houston River Oaks Renovation blends elegance, durability, and functionality. It's now a space for the homeowners - both engineers with a fabulous eye for design, function, and symmetry - to enjoy for many years to come.
