Project Reveal: Willowcreek Contemporary
A 2021 Award-winning home.
Tucked into the back roads of Tomball, TX is the stunning Willowcreek Ranch Estates community. Senior Interior Designer, Ayca Stiffel, worked with Morning Star Builders and two local artisans: Alberto Bonomi and Jim Farris to design this stunning contemporary French Country custom home. Upon entering the home, you are greeted with an unexpected modern twist filled with one-of-a-kind pieces that blend unique industrial and organic design elements. It's a stunning fusion of zinc, raw Corten Steel, crisp white walls, and soothing monochromatic grey hues. The custom home is a far departure from the traditional aesthetic of the neighborhood. In fact, its elegant yet edgy design was recognized for not one, but two design awards!
In May 2021, Ayca's kitchen design was awarded the Regional Luxe Magazine RED Award for 'Best Kitchen Design.'
This stunning kitchen was crafted with custom-made cabinets accented with brass mesh cabinet-fronts from Banker Wire. The space is a modern mix of industrial elements such as the weather, soapstone countertops, a hand-crafted Zinc vent hood, organic Roca Tile backsplash, and brushed silver pendants.

Up next, Willowcreek Contemporary was awarded the top award from PaperCity Magazine. It was awarded the 2021 Design Award for 'Best Residential Interior Design over 3500 sp. ft.'
This award recognizes the entire home's design. Every room throughout the Willowcreek Contemporary Home is filled with unique and one-of-kind design elements: beginning with the brass mesh kitchen cabinets, a hand-crafted zinc vent hood and intricate wine cellar shelving. Down to the edgy and industrial game room bar that was hand-sketched by Ayca and brought to life by craftsman, Alberto Bonomi. These industrial spaces are juxtaposed by the soft, airy details of the dining room chandelier and the crisp design of the guest bathroom. A touch of asymmetry is added to the powder bath with an organic circular mirror and one single petal-like pendant.
