In the fall of 2020, Senior Designer, Ayca Stiffel completed this Contemporary French Country home. Its unique design is a blend of industrial and organic design elements that stand out against the traditional country aesthetic of the neighborhood.
The clients wanted their home to be different - like something they had not seen before - thus Ayca was able to let her creativity run throughout this home. She devised a plan to play upon texture and monochromatic colors. A moody color palette of greys, steel, and hints of brass set the tone for the industrial design of the home. While pops of white and natural light pair with organic details to create a contrast of hard and soft, light and dark that spreads throughout the home.
This edgy approach to this more traditional architecture included a partnership with Banker Wire - a leading manufacturer of woven and welded wire mesh.

Willow Creek Kitchen
Ayca utilized Banker Wire’s brass mesh to add industrial elements to the kitchen area. It complements the edgy details of the custom zinc vent hood, leathered quartzite countertop island, and its single-sided waterfall edge.
Willow Creek Game Room Bar
Ayca incorporated Banker Wire’s woven wire mesh into the multiple sliding doors of the bars' custom open shelving. This unique design was hand-sketched by Ayca and brought to life by local artisan, Alberto Bonomi. The mesh doors are on a track, able to slide back and forth for customizable storage space.
