Ways To Help Kerr County Flooding Relief from Houston.

The flooding over the 4th of July in the Texas Hill Country is devastating. We are sending our continual prayers over all the people affected by this tragic flooding and loss.

Our team has gathered some details on how the Houston area can help out and support this community during this time of need. There are physical areas to drop off donations, as well as links to donate from afar. Including: the VERIFIED GoFundMe page created for fundraisers and nonprofits' support in the Kerr Flooding Relief.
Houston Areas to Donate / Drop off Zone:
The University of St. Thomas is multiple trailers filled with recovery supplies to Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville. You are able to donate from July 7 to July 10. Donations area being accepted at the UST Veteran Success Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Typhoon Texas is accepting donations from Monday, July 7 to ugh Wednesday, July 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Items can be dropped off at:

*As a thank you: for every $50 worth of donated supplies, guests will receive one free Typhoon Texas ticket. There is a maximum of four tickets per vehicle/or up to value of $200.

Bleach, brooms, mops, shovels
Toilet paper and trash bags
Mud Puppy is a veteran-and first-responder-owned moving, hauling, and equipment and party rental company. They are inviting everyone to fill their box truck with essentials for flood victims. This is held Monday, July 7 through Thursday, July 10 - The donation pick up is on Thursday afternoon and delivers directly to Kerr County on Friday, July 11.

Cleanup supplies: heavy-duty trash bags, bleach, gloves, scrub brushes, laundry detergent
Flashlights & AA/AAA/D batteries (taped or in original packaging)
Kids’ morale-boosters: small toys, coloring books, puzzles, card/board games
Pet food (dog & cat) and cat litter
Gift cards for groceries, fuel, or home-repair stores
All collected donations will be hand-delivered directly into the impacted community at the request of The Salvation Army to ensure they reach families most in need. Here are some where you can donate to help Central Texas flooding relief:
The community foundation is offering The Kerr County Flood Relief Fund to support relief and rebuilding efforts after the flood of July 4, 2025. Donations will be directed to vetted organizations providing rescue, relief, and recovery efforts as well as flood assistance.
The church, located at 122 Valley View in Kerrville. They are accepting donations at the church but for those who aren't local, you can donate online.
This is a Austin-based nonprofit specializing in emergency response. They deployed swiftwater rescue teams, boats, drones and search dogs to aid in the search for the missing. Donations to sustain their efforts can be made online for those who are not local.
The North Texas-based group is accepting financial donations as they travel to Central Texas to offer support to the affect communities.
The Salvation Army in Kerrville is accepting online donations to help those impacted by the floods.
Mercy Chefs is providing free hot meals to families, first responders and volunteers impacted by the floods. They are also accepting donations from a far to support their meal operations.
Our thoughts and hearts go out to the community of Kerr County and Camp Mystic. We hope these links help direct more support and donations to these areas.
The By Design Team will be continuing to pray for healing, support, and recovery for all the individuals, animals, and infrastructure affected by the flooding.
