Spotlight on Design – High Fashion Home in The Woodlands, Part 2

Updated: May 24, 2020

In this week’s blog we will continue our tour of this sophisticated and ‘high fashion’ remodel in The Woodlands, TX! This spectacular home was designed by one of our amazing designers, Erika Barczak, and remodeled by Keechi Creek Builders! In this blog, we will focus on four exquisite bedrooms! In her own words, Erika will describe the design process!

“Creating a cozy yet elegant sanctuary in this large space definitely posed a design. An edgy damask patterned wallpaper serves as the perfect backdrop for the stunning wood bed with chrome accents. Custom bedding and pillows were made with an assortment of fabrics mixing silvers, golds, creams, and pops of deep purple.”

Master Bedroom

“This fun wife wanted a spot for her hubby to sit and relax while she would get ready to go out. The little seating area nestled into the bay windows became the perfect spot for him. Everyone loves to curl their toes up in the Flokati rug, even the pups!”

Master Sitting room

“After her Sweet 16, the client’s daughter wanted a room that would be both youthful and elegant. A metallic wallpaper with a sophisticated damask design is punctuated with textural fabrics in hues of soft creams, purples, and grays. The antique bed adds warmth to the space while the sheer drapery panels dress the windows with some metallic sparkle. Rich purple hues can be seen in the lamps, artwork, rug, and fun accessories.”

Daughter’s Bedroom

“Classic, clean, and elegant, this guest bedroom is the perfect cozy space for guests to kick up their feet. An upholstered headboard is dolled up with custom pillows made from elegant charcoal, champagne, and cream fabrics. A black leather-wrapped nightstand and clear column lamp add a masculine touch to the soft space.”

Guest Bedroom 1

“Completely decorated in neutrals, this chic, fashion-fixated bedroom sparkles with gilded artwork and lamps, an array of fun textural fabrics, and draperies made from linen and metallic threads. Klismos chairs bring old and new styles together, classic elements with fresh style. Touches of black seen in the rug, artwork, and the chairs add depth and help the textures found in the fabrics really pop.”
