Years in the Making...Continued
Walking into this house before the makeover the homeowners didn't feel at ease in their own home. Through the design process and getting to know my clients I was able to give them a light and airy home to fit their style perfectly.
Precious glassware and family heirlooms are great display items for a china cabinet, but, the problem is, all of those items blend together (especially with a cabinet backed with glass). A great solution is to add decorative plates to break up all the glass. You can even switch out the plates with the seasons to add to your festivity.

I wanted to bring the outdoor in with this living room. So I used the lake outside as inspiration for the bright blue walls. The pink color offsets the blue nicely and adds a feminine touch.

I have saved one of the best rooms for last, so tune in next Friday to see the complete project.
