Making the Unused Useful

Making the Unused Useful

We all have those areas in our home that are unused. Whether it is an underutilized closet or that awkward space under your stair case, we have some unique ideas to help you make the most out of your waste of space.

Work-it! While most homes these days have a study, that doesn’t mean that you don’t need an additional work space, especially if you have a large family. Everyone needs a place to work, whether it is budgeting and menu planning, officing from home, or doing homework.

Creating an additional, cozy, work space out of an untouched closet is a simple way to utilize your space.

Or if you have some blank wall space between your kitchen and breakfast room, you can add a small desk knee space to the end of your cabinets that is great for kids and moms alike.

Man’s Best Friend. While we love our pets, having their chew toys out for the world to see can take away from your homes aesthetic.Carving out an area just for your pet under your stair case gives your pet a room just for them, and helps keep your home looking exquisite. Plus, Spot will love it!

Wine Please! Love wine, but don’t have a wine grotto? That’s okay, you can make one! Turning your vacant closet, or in this case an ill configured study computer nook, into a wine cellar is not only functional, but gives you an opportunity to add beauty to a space that would otherwise be mundane.

A barren closet is not the only place you can add a wine grotto. In an open floor plan the area between the kitchen and the living room can sometimes turn into a dead zone or a collect all. Adding a wine grotto to this area of your home is great for entertaining, and can help connect the different areas in your open floor plan.

Don’t let your unused space collect dust! These are just a few of our ideas to help you create a beautiful and functional area out of the neglected nooks in your home.

At this time it looks like BlogEngine is the top blogging platform out
there right now. (from what I've read) Is that what you're using on your
blog?

With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into
any issues of plagorism or copyright violation? My site
has a lot of completely unique content I've either authored myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is
popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any techniques to
help stop content from being stolen? I'd truly appreciate it.
