Let Your Creativity Flow - Designing for Children Part 1

As designers, we love the chance to design children's rooms as it gives us a chance to unleash our creativity in unique ways! There is no fear of using bold colors, vibrant graphics and whimsical accessories! The bonus is getting to work with an enthusiastic, little collaborator on the project! Even though they are children, they love to be included in the design process and it is important to find out their passions and help them to express their styles.

In this teen's room, a bold graphic wallcovering was used to set the focal point! The room is fresh, young and full of life!

On the other side of the room, a more neutral but still hip and stylish desk area is set up to help her concentrate on homework.

There is just something magical about mixing vintage with youth that makes for a charming, timeless and elegant vibe. Loving the whimsical accessories that can be incorporated into play!

Many people are gravitating towards the idea of buying quality furniture that grows with your child. When your child outgrows their crib, it transforms into a headboard and footboard. Once the changing table is removed, you can still use the gorgeous dresser!

Stay tuned next week as we continue as we continue to explore the world of children's design!
