Our designers often take pieces of furniture and
transform them from something dated and worn to current and fabulous with a
great new fabric and a little help from our professional upholstery
workrooms! Being able to see beyond the
surface imperfections and determine if a piece is salvageable is first and
foremost. If the frame is interesting
and in good shape and if there is a functional spot for the piece to go, then why
not consider reupholstering? Repurposing
and up-cycling is good for our environment as well!
We might have a piece of furniture that has a family history
or has sentimental value and we just can’t part with it but, it has seen better

Since the frame was still in great shape, the designer
suggested reupholstering the ottoman in a fresh, fun fabric that would be
durable, and putting it upstairs in the game room. The makeover results are remarkable and really changed
the whole personality of the piece!
This piece came to us after our client returned from antique
treasure hunting. This
settee had beautiful hand carved woodwork but the fabric needed to be
Once the settee was opened up,
it was evident that new batting was also in order!
A gorgeous, sophisticated
fabric was chosen and this stunning piece was placed in a traditional and elegant
Remember, just because your furniture piece is past its
prime, that doesn’t mean you have to part with it! Re-upholstery can breathe
new life into a beloved piece, and is a great way to up-cycle!
