Designing for the Flip Side!

Designing for the Flip Side!

As designers, we really appreciate when a great deal of thought is put into designing a piece of furniture. It has to look good from all angles! When a chair has that extra attention to detail it really stands out. It is so fun to pass by a chair and have the back of it turn your head! We did some head turning at High Point Market this fall!

The metal pull on the back of this channeled leather chair gives it a shiny piece of "jewelry" and it also makes it very functional to help pull out the chair!

The overlapping ovals on this gorgeous chair would add great repetition of pattern to any room and we love the contrast of the textured fabric with the smooth, sleek metal!

This modern barstool has a cool, edgy feel with a geometric pattern built into the frame!

The delicate butterfly shaped backs of these dining chairs give them a graceful, ethereal quality and the pretty gold color enhances the effect.

The juxtaposition of the elegant wooden frame and the industrial metal grid make the back of this chair completely unique and alluring!

The mechanical "steampunk" style of this head turning chair is intriguing and we had the privilege of meeting the innovative designer who conceived this piece!

We love the combination of different materials used in unique ways on this hip, ingenious chair!

Climbing even further out of the box is this funky, futuristic chair with a flowing rhythmic pattern!

Stay tuned next week for more exciting chair backs!
