Crushing on Velvet

Crushing on Velvet

Velvet has been around for thousands of years but its allure has not faded! This opulent fabric was once reserved for royalty but thanks to modern manufacturing methods; we can all use it to upgrade our interiors.

Velvet can be made from a wide variety of fibers ranging from silks to synthetic blends to cottons. Silk velvet has a beautiful drape and an undeniable shimmer! Cotton velvet is sumptuous and durable and has a softer sheen to it. Synthetic fibers can mimic just about any velvety look!
